Job Description

Established organization is seeking a Director of Sales on a Direct Hire basis! This is a remote role with occasional travel to the greater Glendale, CA area. Pay ranges from $160k base + strong performance based bonus and full benefits.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Led a rapidly expanding team of 5 closers, 3 setters, and 1 confirmation specialist
  • Managed and mentored both the Head Sales Coach and RevOps Manager
  • Hired, coached, and developed team members to support growth

Process & Performance

  • Enhanced performance metrics across all sales stages: show rate ? discovery ? demo ? close
  • Continuously optimized onboarding processes, sales scripts, training materials, and enablement assets
  • Facilitated weekly sales meetings and interdepartmental syncs
  • Conducted regular audits of pipelines, CRM data, call recordings, and sales behaviors
  • Ensured sales efforts aligned with operational capacity and delivery timelines

Strategy & Execution

  • Owned CRM (HubSpot) strategy, reporting, and funnel oversight in partnership with RevOps
  • Analyzed performance data to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights
  • Developed dashboards and reporting systems to drive data-informed decisions
  • Piloted and implemented new offers, pricing strategies, and positioning

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partnered with marketing to refine messaging, ad content, and email copy
  • Coordinated with operations for seamless onboarding and client fulfillment
  • Contributed to enterprise-level strategy and implementation planning

Innovation & Growth

  • Devised upsell and downsell strategies tailored to client segments
  • Led improvements in funnel efficiency and conversion touchpoints
  • Supported organizational scaling goals-targeting 500+ employees and 2000+ clients in 3 years

Requirements:

  • A proven sales leader with 5+ years who's aggressively scaled teams and systems in fast-growth environments
  • Someone who balances data-driven decisions with human-centered coaching
  • Experience using HubSpot
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, confident with structure, and clear in communication
  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, or construction SaaS
  • Background in enterprise sales or launching new GTM motions
  • Understanding of RevOps and sales/marketing alignment best practices
